The quickest way to ruin a beautiful bouquet like this is to not take the bouquet apart and dry each stem before trying to dry it. Yes, it’s time consuming but absolutely necessary. Just one wet stem can ruin a whole bouquet like this. The mold worked through the wet bloom and into all the surrounding flowers. Trust me— take it apart and dry each stem with a towel before hanging to dry.

It’s a terrible feeling when we break a window, especially when that window is a finished piece! Jason had perfected the ability of replacing the glass. It’s all about having the right tools and the patience. It would have been a crime for this piece to have been lost forever. So many beautiful dried flowers! Now it’s good as new!

It cracked me up when a younger woman walked into my booth and proclaimed she was going to have her mom make a window for her, and the woman behind her who was older but NOT her mom wanted to make sure I knew she was NOT the said mom, and was not going to try to make one. Cracks me up! 🤣 Honey, thank you and God bless! 😘

We will miss our studio and the artists there, especially our neighbors Paul and Roy who helped us build a little community of our own in our building. This space helped us make our business a reality.

We have moved to a NEW SPACE, and are back in hometown of CENTERVILLE. We can’t wait to share more news of an OPEN HOUSE later this summer. For now we’ve got the art studio up and running and are making new pieces for markets and completing orders. It’s been a busy Spring! For now, we won’t have a gallery space open but will share when we do.

Thank you to all our supporters, friends, and family for making our business so successful that we could make this new home.

Yes, I think artistic ability may be genetic. Case in point— my 10-year-old son spends a lot of his free time drawing and painting and coloring. So when he asked if he could help in the studio tonight, he managed to make a beautiful piece almost entirely on his own. His favorite color is purple. How did he do?

I probably shouldn’t say that. I should buy one. But I won’t. I’m going to make this an copy you.” I do not know what possesses people to be rude and say things like that. And yes, it’s rude. Good luck to him. I love what I do and capturing the beauty of the flowers and the rustic charm of the windows. That passion can’t be copied.
