BRIDAL BOUQUET/FUNERAL/SPECIAL OCCASION FLOWER PRESERVATION + DEPOSIT

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Selecting this option includes a $100 non-refundable drying free for UP TO TWO BOUQUETS. Delivering more than two bouquets for drying will include an additional drying fee, which will be invoiced to you before any work is completed. You may email use for an estimate on additional costs if additional drying is required. This option also includes a $100 non-refundable deposit which will apply to the balance of your order. A drying fee is a fee for our services to receive your bouquet and dry it for you, and does not include any shipping or delivery costs, which should be handled by the purchaser. We only accept 3 orders each month. Each preservation package and deposit includes our design consult to help ensure you get a final piece you will love.
 
DELIVERY OF FLOWERS:
Flowers should be received within 24 hours of the event, and no later than 48 hours after the event, in order to be dried. We cannot guarantee the condition or color of your blooms in the drying process-- and not all flowers dry well. We do not recommend drying the following flowers: lily, tulips, daffodils, daisies, orchids, geraniums, and pansies. Flowers used in our art are not bouquet flowers and are cut much sooner. Flowers used in bouquets are cut much later and usually refrigerated for some length of time before they are used, causing them to deteriorate at a faster rate. We will do our best to ensure they dry and do not mold. Delivering flowers more than 48 hours after the event is not recommended, and we would advise beginning the drying process yourself if you cannot meet this timeline. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to coordinate with JJ's Boutique on the delivery of their flowers to our studio in Dayton, Ohio. Please email us prior to your event to schedule. Once received, all flowers become the property of JJ's Boutique until final payment of a completed piece is received. Failure to follow-up to design your piece or failure to pay your final invoice will result in forfeiture of your deposit and flowers, so please ensure you are ready to move forward before making your purchase.
 
SHIPPING BOUQUETS:
All flowers should be shipped to our studio overnight, with the flower stems wrapped in a moist paper towel with a plastic bag around the towel, and bubble wrap around the flowers to ensure they are not damaged in shipping. We do not guarantee the condition of flowers that are shipped. Failure to properly package and ship flowers to be received within 48 hours of the event could result in deterioration of the flowers. Once received, all flowers become the property of JJ's Boutique until final payment of a completed piece is received. Failure to follow-up to design your piece or failure to pay your final invoice will result in forfeiture of your deposit and flowers, so please ensure you are ready to move forward before making your purchase.
 
DRYING PROCESS:
It takes 3-5 weeks to fully dry flowers before they are ready for the design process. Your piece will not begin production until after that timeline. We will email you when your bouquet is ready in order to begin your design consult. This will include recommendations on frame colors, backing colors, size, and if additional flowers or greenery should be added to your final piece in order to ensure it meets your expectations. You may email us examples of pieces you like to use as reference when designing your piece. Note that we DO NOT press flower bouquets. All final pieces will look like deconstructed wedding bouquets similar to those you will find on our website or social media.  Please use these images as inspiration for what you'd like. 
 
Once your design consult is completed, it will take 12-16 weeks for your piece to be completed. We may email additional questions and concerns while we complete your piece, so make sure you are checking your email to ensure timely completion of your project.
 
CUSTOM WORDING:
Custom wording such as your last name and wedding date can be added to your final piece for an additional fee. Please note adding wording will add an additional 2-4 weeks to the project timeline, as we will create a custom decal for your piece. We will contact you with font and layout options during the design process. 
 
DESIGN PROCESS:
Please refer to our photo galleries and social media for examples of completed pieces. To assist with the design process, you are required to send a photo via email (through your booking or through the "contact us" page) from our website gallery or social media that is an inspiration for your final design. This will help direct us in the design process. Sending us a photo saying, “I like these colors and flowers but with a black window with grids,” is an example of how to start the process. Your design consult will occur via email, and we will discuss frame type, sizing, and colors. From those selections you will receive an estimate on pricing. Note that pricing varies based on frame type, size, and flowers.
 
We cannot accommodate order requests for earlier or later than your specified selection, and failure to properly book your request will result in forfeit of your deposit, so please book accordingly. 
 
This drying fee and deposit IS NOT THE FINAL PRICE OF YOUR COMPLETED PIECE. Only the $100 deposit applies to the final cost of your piece. Prices for completed pieces start at $100 for a 12x12 shadow box, with window designs starting at $185. Architectural windows and custom-made shadow boxes add additional costs, with prices starting at $300. We cannot guarantee frame options, especially specialty and architectural window frames, which are subject to availability. We will do our best to find a frame from our stock to meet your needs. That stock is always changing. Please plan accordingly.
 
COMPLETION:
Once your piece is completed, you'll receive an email with photos to approve your design. You'll also be sent an emailed invoice for the remaining balance of your art piece, which must be paid prior to pickup or shipping. Local pickup at our Dayton, OH studio can be scheduled based on our availability. Shipping starts at $25 for a 12x12 shadow box and $75 per window. Ask for an estimate if shipping is required. Failure to complete any part of this process will forfeit your deposit. All art pieces are the property of JJ's Boutique until final payment is received. Failure to pay a final invoice within 30 days of completion will result in forfeiture of your piece, including any flowers provided, as well as the deposit.
